PFC Clarence J. “Bud” Wagner

Feb 21, 1913 - Feb 13, 1945 

Private Wagner died Feb. 13 on Luzon from wounds received in action Feb. 9, according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman F. Wagner, 1218 South Marietta street.

Overseas with the infantry since December. 1943, he served on Hawaii, New. Guinea and Leyte.

He attended Riley High school and was employed by the Singer Manufacturing company before entering the Army in February, 1941.

Surviving besides his par ents are four sisters, Mrs. Alvin Bare and Mrs. Thomas McCormick, of South Bend; Mrs. L. Hepler, Mishawaka, and Mrs. Raymond McKibben. Albany, N. Y. and two brothers, Carl this city, and Sergt. Raymond R. Wagner, in England.
