MARCUM William L. "Bill" Marcum, born December 8, 1938 to the late Earl and Doris Marcum, found peace September 1, 2010 surrounded by family.
Preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Lois Marcum and his grandson James Perkins and brother-in-law Cecil Dolin.
Survived by sisters, Suzy Shirkey (Donald "Pinky" Bryant) of Whitesville, WV and Carra Mae Dolin of Madison, WV; son, William "B.J." Marcum of Columbus; daughter, Coretha Milby of Columbus; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca "Becky" and Roger Piekarski of Cudahy, WI; son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd "Eddie" and Susan Milby; son and daughter-in-law, James and Elizabeth Marcum of Canton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brett) DeHaven, Susan Thompson, Candice Wilson, Christine (Alex) Cramer, Lyndie DeLong, Michael (Michelle) Hoyt, Amanda (Brian) Hecimovich, William "Matt" Hoyt, William "E.J." Milby, Claire Milby, Elton "Kyle" (Jenna) Foster, Timothy "Travis" Foster, Patrick "Aaron" Marcum, Lilith Dulen, Ireland Dulen, Jaxon Dulen; and 12 great-grandchildren, all of whom will dearly miss their PaPaw "Butthead's" jokes and teasing. Also survived by nieces, nephews; and friends too numerous to count. He will be missed every day by us all.
Bill enjoyed playing cards, fishing and teasing his grandchildren. He was an extremely hard working man. Retiring first from Abex Corporation then as a bus driver for South-Western School System and he dedicated over 40 years of his life as the manager of South High Drive-In. Bill attended Riley High School in South Bend.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, September 6 at O.R. WOODYARD CO. FUNERAL HOME, 1346 S. High Street, where services will be Tuesday, September 7, at 10:30 a.m., followed by procession to Obetz Cemetery. Reverend Mike Nichols officiating.
