John M. Japa

SOUTH BEND - John M. Japa, 26, of 128 Village Way, died about 4:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Medical Center of natural causes.

Mr. Japa was born May 14, 1963, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his parents, Irene (Halasz) and John Japa of South Bend; two sisters, Jennifer M. and Janice M., both of South Bend; and a brother, James M. of South Bend.

He attended Riley High School.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Zahoran Funeral Home.
