Jack L  Anderson

March 7, 1934 - Feb. 17, 2005

Jack L. Anderson, 70, of Mishawaka, Ind., passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 17, at home with his family at his side. Jack was born on March 7, 1934, to Cecil and Bertha Anderson in South Bend.

Mr. Anderson graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor's degree. He worked for many years at Bendix, before retiring. Jack was a member of Sumption Prairie United Methodist Church for many years, but more recently joined Albright United Methodist Church. In 1957, he married the former Alice (Turfler) Anderson in Indiana.

She survives. They lived many happy years together and had eight beautiful children. Surviving along with his wife are his daughters, Jan Larsen of Wakarusa, Susan Eastin of Greeley, Colo., and Katherine Ream of Walkerton; sons, Adrian of Douglasville, Ga., Timothy of Mishawaka, Joseph of Denver, Colo., Eric of Mishawaka and John B. (Reynolds) Anderson of Indianapolis; sisters, Mary Perrin and Ruth Gilleand, both of South Bend; and six grandchildren.

A Memorial Service for Jack will be held today, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. in the Albright United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made on behalf of Jack Anderson to Hospice of St. Joseph County; or to the Albright United Methodist Church.

The Forest G. Hay Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
