Richard “Dick” Barker

KOKOMO - Richard “Dick” Barker, 86, of Kokomo, passed away at 7:35 pm on Friday, April 15, 2016, at Waterford Place Health Campus. He was born on June 16, 1929, in South Bend, IN to William C. and Mary (Gerschoffer) Barker. On June 16, 1972, Richard married Charlene Andrews, and she passed away on October 25, 2012.

Richard was a Riley High School graduate and worked for Studebaker in South Bend.

Survivors include his children, Gary (Sherry) Barker, Scott Barker, Shannon Graber, Andrea Little and Michael (Diane) Little; son in-law, Walter Hudson; sister, Valeria Sagendorf; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 6 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory. A private inurnment was held at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
