Oliver A. Bair

The Funeral Mass for Mr. Oliver A. Bair, Tampa Police Dept. Legal Advisor, age 54, will be offered Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church (No. Dale Mabry & Stall Rd.) with The Rev. Fr. Austin M. Mullen, Celebrant. Interment in the Garden of Memories with Police Honors afforded by the Tampa Police Dept. Pallbearers will be members of the T.P.D. Squad 15.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ann K. Bair; Sons, Officer David L. Bair, Gerard L. Bair; Daughter, Kathleen A. Bair; Mother, Mrs. Doris L. Whitmer; Daughter-InLaw, Linda A. Bair; Granddaughters, Joyce, Davina & Kimberly Bair, all of Tampa.

Mr. Bair had been a resident of Tampa the past 26 years and a 23 year Veteran of the Tampa Police Dept. serving as the Police Legal Advisor.

He was a Veteran of WW2 & the Korean Conflict; member of the Tampa Police Dance Band; a Graduate of Florida Southern College; Stetson University College of Law; member of the Kappa Delta Pi Epsilon Gamma Fraternity at Stetson; member of the Florida Bar Association, Hillsborough Bar Association; International Association of Chief of Police; Life member of the Tampa Police Pistol & Rifle Club; F.O.P. Tampa Lodge No. 27; Executive member, Law Enforcement Legal Unit.

The family requests that Flowers Please Be Omitted. Those wishing may make donations to the Charity of their choice. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel, Duval Funeral Home, 3800 Nebraska Avenue from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday evening with Wake Services at 7:30 p.m
