Sharon Renata (Aukerman) Spurlock, age 61, received her eternal healing following an unexpected pulmonary embolism on July 20, 2024, in Hot Springs Village, AR. Sharon was born on May 29, 1963, in South Bend, IN. Sharon was known for her pure spirit, beauty inside and out, and unwavering faith.

Sharon flourished as an interior decorator, expertly combining her love for holidays with her flair for creating welcoming spaces. Her talents extended to the kitchen, where she was both an excellent cook and baker. You could daily find Sharon reading her bible, curled up in her chair praying. Those who knew Sharon will remember her laughter, which embodied the Joy of the Lord, and her classy demeanor in everything she did, from dressing up in costumes to hosting gatherings that left everyone feeling cherished.

She attended Riley High School in South Bend, IN, and was a devout member of First Pentecostals of Benton in Benton, AR, where she was actively involved and deeply cherished by her church family.

Sharon is survived by her loving parents, Dale and Lucinda Aukerman; her children: Brock (Shanley) Spurlock, Lauren (Nathan) Miller, and Brandon (Ashlyn) Spurlock; and her heartbeats who affectionately called her “NeNe”: Liam, Mason, Davi, Jett, and soon arriving Dax and Baker; sisters, Marcia (Michael) Fewell and Kayleen (John) Carr; nieces, Taylor and Lexi Carr; nephew, Cameron Fewell; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful friends who will all miss her dearly.

Sharon was preceded in death by her grandparents: Cletus and Jacqueline Berger, and Max and Lydia Aukerman; and very dear and special aunt, Pam Smith.

Funeral Service is Wednesday, July 24 in Benton, AR. Graveside service is Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2:30 at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden in South Bend, IN.

Sharon's life was a memorial stone for her family to cherish, reflecting her profound love for Jesus and enduring love for all to come to know Him.
