Walter E. Banfi 

Walter E. Banfi, 76, of Dallas, formerly of South Bend, died Jan. 13 in Methodist Hospital, Dallas. Mr. Banfi was born May 31, 1911, in South Bend and had lived in Dallas for the last 30 years. On Feb. 10, 1966, in Oklahoma City, Okla., he married the former Dion Schornack, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Ruth Banfi of South Bend; and two brothers, Edward and William, both of South Bend.

There were no services or visita-tion. The body was donated to the Southwest Medical School, Dallas.

Mr. Banfi was a graduate of Riley High School.
