Daniel Charles Dutrieux ,65, of South Bend ,passed away on August 6,2012 in his home.
Daniel was born Jan 25,1947 in South Bend and he was a member of the Riley H.S. Class of 1965 where he participated in Track and Football.
On July 2,1965 he married Vicki Frazier in Niles Michigan.
He retired from the South Bend Police Department in 1973.After his retirement ,he enjoyed fishing,was a member of the F.O.P.Lodge #36, President of the Wagner Little League, and was an avid Notre Dame and Chicago Cubs fan. Additionally, he was a member of the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter and two sons, a brother, a sister and three grandchildren.He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
