Attended IUSB/nursing. Relocated to North Texas in 1983. Was an elementary school nurse 12 years and decided to return to college to pursue my passion, art in 2000. Graduated Summa cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Studio Art in 2004. Was hired by Interlochen Center for the Arts, Summer Camps and Arts Academy near Traverse City, Michigan as the Presentations/Gallery Coordinator and assistant to the director of the Visual Art Department, working there from 2004 - 2013. I returned to Indiana, Granger, in 2014 for a long visit and have not left! South Bend has changed immensely and I am beginning to establish roots once again. I teach Encaustic (painting with bees wax) painting and watercolor painting at the South Bend Museum of Art.
